Our infrastructure allows integrating any sensor or effector into our C2 systems. We work closely with partners in the defense ecosystem and leverage commercial technologies to bring the best of breed into our solutions.
As a System Engineer, you will lead the process of extending the ecosystem of integrations into our C2 solutions. Working at high speed, along with our other developers, delivering value to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-effort to expand the ecosystem of integrations forend responsibility for devices and effectors in our ecosystem - from initial technical discovery with our partners all the way to defining deployment and maintenance processes of the devices
- Hands-on work - software integrations over our SDK, field testing, lab integrations, calibrations and remote support
- Build knowledge over time on the devices and gradually improve their performance in the field with optimizations over time
- Build tools to help with the ongoing work
- Define SDK improvements based on devices abilities and deployment needs
Requirements
- 5+ years in system engineering or related roles.
- At least 2 years of experience in a full time software development role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with system architecture, installation, and maintenance of complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols and communications systems
- Familiarity with IoT, sensors, and energy related aspects.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)- a big advantage
- Familiarity with drone development - an advantage.
