  • Participate in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements.
  • Own the revenue accounting processes end-to-end: bookings, revenue, deferred revenue, invoicing, and revenue collection.
  • Reconcile revenue and receivables against orders, contracts, and delivery milestones.
  • Partner with sales, delivery, and program teams to ensure accurate order and billing data.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance on recurring reports.
  • Work closely with the external auditors through the annual audit.
  • Provide professional guidance and assistance for the bookkeeping staff.
  • Communicate on an ongoing basis with other departments to understand the business and ensure it is properly reflected in the Company's financial statements.
  • Ad-hoc analysis.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance and a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – A must.
  • Worked in the audit department of a Big 4 accounting firm – A must.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Controller or a Controller at a growth-stage start - up – A must.
  • Experience working in defense or hardware companies – A plus.
  • Excellent English – verbal and written – A must.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel – A must.
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience – A plus.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, with the ability to monitor and analyze financial data independently.
  • Able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Hard worker, detail-oriented, and organized, with superior analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable owning a process end-to-end.
  • Able to handle sensitive information with discretion, confidentiality, and maturity.
