What We Need
Kymeta is looking for a Manager, Customer & Factory Repair. This is the leader of a team of engineers and technicians responsible for failure analysis and repair of customer returns as well as debugging and correcting failures of terminals, antennas, subsystems and circuit cards that fail during factory testing.
  • Manage team to complete multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prioritize projects based on the needs of both customers and manufacturing.
  • Perform root cause analysis on failure modes of complex systems.
  • Organize and present data on failure modes and key findings.
  • Develop and document processes related to DEBUG and RMA activities.
  • Identify potential reliability issues to improve the design of future products.
  • Work closely with engineers in other departments to report and solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Utilize the strengths of the team to appropriately assign tasks for quicker turnaround.
  • Incorporate cross-training to build a stronger team and improve teamwork.
  • Ensure all projects are performed to the highest standards of quality assurance.
  • Three or more years of experience managing teams
  • Five or more years of experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic systems, such as personal computers which have multiple sets of intercommunicating firmware
  • Soldering process and cable manufacturing experience a plus
  • Network troubleshooting experience a plus
  • BS or higher degree in engineering or physics
Kymeta is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In the spirit of pay transparency, we have determined the salary range for this position to be $110, 000-$130,000. This is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would be atypical, in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. Compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and geography. The total compensation package for this position includes an annual target bonus of 10%, stock options, and benefits listed below. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
