About the Role:

Latch is looking for an extraordinarily talented Accounts Payable Analyst to support our Real Estate team in Boston, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our financial transactions. You will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter all approved bills in Quickbooks and AppFolio
  • Review Budgets and Estimates and AP reports weekly
  • Print and Mail checks
  • File all bills
  • Review and obtain approval for bills in Quickbooks and AppFolio
  • Enter all billable expenses
  • Maintain and update databases for Utilities and Real Estate taxes
  • Generate payments and mail to utility company and municipalities
  • Reconcile Vendors monthly
  • Communication with vendors
  • Send out vendor payments
  • Accounting Office
  • Process all mail, email and phone calls pertaining to billing
  • Order supplies
  • Attend team meetings

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to multi task and switch gears as needed
  • Excellent communication skills required (both written and oral)
  • Solid math and clerical skills (typing, data entry)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel and Google Workspace
  • Quickbooks and/or AppFolio experience is favorable. Ability to learn external and internal real estate related applications
  • High school diploma required. Bachelor’s or Associates degree is a plus; or equivalent work experience
  • Real Estate industry experience a plus
  • Knowledge of multifamily housing is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency, including AppFolio
  • Property Management software is also preferred.
