About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Marketing to establish, lead, and grow our marketing department. As the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's brand strategy, building a high-performance marketing team, and driving the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
    • Define product positioning and messaging for target audiences
  • Brand Development:
    • Craft a compelling and consistent brand identity that embodies Latch's values and resonates with customers.
    • Oversee the creation and execution of brand guidelines, ensuring brand integrity across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
    • Drive brand awareness and equity through various marketing channels and campaigns.
  • Team Building and Management:
    • Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of talented marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
    • Provide mentorship and define clear roles and responsibilities, setting performance goals and conducting regular performance evaluations.
  • Demand Generation and Lead Generation:
    • Develop and execute demand generation campaigns to drive qualified leads and accelerate sales pipeline.
    • Utilize marketing automation tools to nurture prospects and improve conversion rates.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to optimize lead generation strategies and ensure marketing qualified leads (MQLs) are effectively passed to sales for conversion.
  • Content Marketing and Thought Leadership:
    • Establish Latch as a thought leader in the proptech industry by creating and promoting valuable content such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and webinars.
    • Develop content marketing strategies that address the pain points of our target audience and drive engagement.
  • Digital Marketing and Advertising:
    • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
    • Implement data-driven marketing strategies to maximize ROI and optimize customer acquisition costs.
  • Events and PR:
    • Plan and execute successful events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
    • Manage relationships with external PR agencies to secure media coverage and drive positive brand exposure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing management, with a focus on B2C technology products or services.
  • Track record of successfully building and scaling marketing departments from the ground up.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, inbound marketing, and demand generation techniques.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and web analytics tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for mentorship and talent development.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
