About the Role:
Matterport is looking for an experienced Lead Sales Operations Manager for our Americas region who will lead the sales operations process and improve sales effectiveness. The Lead Sales Operations Manager will advance sales processes, sales training/onboarding, sales program implementation in order to enable increased velocity by our sales team. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, Finance, and HR.
To be successful in this role, you must be excellent at cross-functional leadership, be able to inspire and collaborate with all levels of an organization, and have very strong business and technical analytical skills. What you will do:
- Influence the sales performance measurements process to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) align with business goals and accurately reflect success criteria whilst leading Sales Leadership in assessing their sales team's overall performance.
- Lead and Ownership of weekly sales forecast processes supporting regional or global sales leadership teams.
- Influence forecast accuracy while providing analysis and insights to understand impacts to forecast, discounting, and viability of gap-closing measures or plans.
- Drive Operational excellence, setting standard methodology for all areas of forecasting, pipe generation, commissions, and account planning.
- Champion the creation and deployment of sales program strategy and methodology including documentation of sales policies and procedures.
- Champion global or regional sales capacity planning, and compensation models, defining quotas to motivate sales and incentivize sales performance.
- Partner with technical teams ensuring tech stack aligned to sales needs including tool assessments, tool usage and best practices of Salesforce and integrated prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SixSense, etc.
Who you are:
- Tech Industry experience 8 - 12 years
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, sales programs, Sales Consulting or sales, with experience in commissions, reporting, and forecasting.
- 5+ years of experience with Salesforce.com and surrounding business processes such as forecasting, territory and quota setting, and data management.
- Experience in a fast growing SaaS company in the Americas marketplace.
- Experience in Excel at Intermediate level or above, with mastery of formulas and functions. Ability to work in large and disconnected data sets to provide data decisions and insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar.
- Experience with Salesforce, or CRM tools including opportunity administration duties and reporting.
- Experience in sales productivity tools such as Clari, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred

The US on target salary range for this full-time position is $121,344 to $185,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
