About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of trade shows, corporate events, and special projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trade show management, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple events and tasks simultaneously. This role involves close collaboration with internal marketing and business stakeholders, external vendors, and event organizations to ensure all aspects of our events align with strategic objectives, brand standards, and budgets.
What you will do:
- Trade Show Planning & Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of multiple trade shows and special events, ensuring all deadlines are met, objectives are achieved, and unforeseen challenges are handled promptly and effectively.
- Vendor Management: Work closely with external vendors across multiple projects to coordinate services, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful event execution.
- Onsite Event Management: Serve as the onsite lead for trade shows and special events, ensuring smooth operations, quick problem-solving, and alignment with event goals.
- Collaborative Planning: Partner with business stakeholders to define trade show objectives, brand messaging, demo selection, lead capture strategies, and ROI measurement.
- Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with the Director of Marketing Operations to streamline processes for effective pre- and post-event communication, ensuring a seamless handoff of leads to the sales team.
- Budget Management: Track, manage, and process payments related to business group trade shows, ensuring expenses remain within budget.
- Simultaneous Show Coordination: Manage multiple trade shows at once, ensuring each show meets predefined objectives, complies with deadlines, and aligns with budget constraints.
- Exhibit Management: Collaborate with exhibit agencies on booth design, requirements, proposals, graphic development, and overall budget adherence.
- Team Communication: Coordinate and lead trade show planning calls with sales teams, issue meeting notes, and track all deliverables.
- Planning Briefs: Maintain up-to-date planning briefs for each trade show, making daily updates as needed.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner with the creative and brand teams on trade show booth designs, art specifications, and timelines.
- Logistics for Special Events: Organize logistics for event-related meetings and special gatherings, including catering, graphics, AV/IT, room setup, payments, and site visits as necessary.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with trade show associations and sponsoring event organizations to enhance event support and partnership opportunities.
- Corporate Trade Show Support: Assist in managing logistics for Tier One corporate trade shows, including team registration, hotel accommodations, customer events, team attire, and onsite coordination.
- Post-Event Review: Conduct post-show surveys and after-action reviews to assess successes and areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies and guidelines related to brand standards, procurement/payment procedures, and ethics compliance.
- Travel up to 30% of the time
Who you are:
- Experienced Event Management: with 7+ years in managing large-scale, high-profile trade shows and events, with a proven track record of leading successful, results-driven initiatives. Agency experience is a plus.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: You excel in managing multiple moving parts, keeping meticulous track of budgets, schedules, and deliverables. You have an eye for detail and pride yourself on executing seamless, high-quality events.
- Adaptable & Calm Under Pressure: You’re prepared for the unexpected and can stay calm and effective under pressure, troubleshooting issues as they arise to keep events running smoothly.
- Excellent Communicator & Collaborator: You have strong interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships and communicating effectively with diverse internal teams, vendors, and event organizers. Your clear communication keeps all stakeholders aligned and on track.
- Results-Driven & Strategic: You understand that every event is an opportunity to further business objectives, brand awareness, and customer engagement. You approach each event with a strategic mindset, aligning activities with overarching business goals.
- Creative Problem Solver: Challenges don’t faze you; instead, they motivate you to find creative solutions. Whether it’s a last-minute change or a complex logistical hurdle, you’re ready to pivot and adapt to ensure success.
- Experienced Project Manager: With a background in managing trade shows or corporate events, you’re adept at balancing multiple responsibilities—from budget management to booth design coordination—ensuring that each event meets its objectives, stays within budget, and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Customer & Brand Focused: You’re passionate about creating memorable, impactful experiences for attendees and have a deep understanding of the importance of brand consistency and quality in event execution.
- Driven & Proactive: You’re a self-starter who takes initiative to see projects through to completion. You don’t wait for direction on every detail; instead, you proactively anticipate needs and act to address them.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,800 to $145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
