Brief summary of role:

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Sr. Product Marketing Manager to drive the marketing initiatives for OpenSpace products. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the market dynamics, defining the product’s positioning, and effectively communicating its value to internal stakeholders and external audiences. This position blends strategic planning hands-on execution, requiring close collaboration with sales and product teams to ensure our products succeed in the market.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies for new products/features, moving beyond the creation of data sheets and presentations to shaping strategy, process, and outcomes.
  • Take charge of sales and channel enablement by developing materials and conducting training to enhance seller effectiveness. This involves training on use cases, buyer personas, product solutions, and objection handling.
  • Conduct market analysis, including market sizing, segmentation, customer research, persona definition, win/loss interviews, and competitive analysis to inform strategic priorities.
  • Develop and refine positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with target audiences. Create impactful white papers and collaborate on data insights with analysts or external researchers.
  • Create marketing content such as social media posts, blog entries, customer newsletters, conference presentations, and in-product messaging.
  • Deliver regular product marketing updates to senior executives and contribute to the strategic planning of the marketing department.
  • Collaborate with fellow product marketing teammates and build an environment that encourages growth and high performance from everyone.

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of B2B software product marketing experience, with a strong track record in product marketing.
  • Prior experience in SaaS, AI, and construction or real estate industries is a plus.
  • Understanding of direct sales process, assisted sales and PLG motions, with experience supporting the sales organization to drive success.
  • Experience in leading projects with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for our products, our customer segment – but construction experience is not required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Proven ability to market technologically advanced products to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of crafting written content and presenting ideas to executive teams.
  • Analytical and creative thinker with a strong inclination towards data-driven decision-making.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • This role requires the ability to travel. The average travel requirements of this role are <15%.

Base Salary: $124,000 - $180,000

The Base Salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations including but not limited to CA, CO, NY, WA, NV, MD, CT and RI. The determination of this anticipated Base Salary involves the consideration of many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: location of candidate, unique skill sets, experience, training, performance, licensure and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. Our anticipated Base Salary determination is just one component of OpenSpace’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes equity awards, 401k match, as well as other region-specific health and wellness benefits.
