The Bilingual Health Coach RN ensures delivery of Pager's lifestyle coaching program, drives outcomes for participants, and addresses client expectations. The Bilingual Health Coach RN provides clinical interventions in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that each interaction is valuable to the participant. This position will work one of the two following shifts, 8:00am-4:30pm CST or 10:30am-7:30pm CST.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Case load
    • Drive positive health outcomes of their participants
    • Address barriers and identify opportunities for the participants
    • Work with other departments to solve participant issues in a timely manner
    • Ensure that documentation is completed
    • Set SMART goals with the participant and document action steps needed to complete the goals
    • Send appropriate supporting educational materials to the participant
    • Assist participants in individualized goal-setting, using readiness assessment, principles of motivational
      interviewing, and appropriate clinical communications
  • Meet and exceed standards for productivity and quality
    • Understand and maintain coaching center goals of success
  • Attend all clinical, client, and operational meetings and training
    • Attend and complete training opportunities, in both classroom and online settings (CEUs available for
      qualified candidates)
  • Maintain all necessary certifications, updates and licensures for coaching
    • Receive necessary certifications, updates, and licensures for coaching

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Must be bilingual and able to fluently communicate in both English and Spanish
  • Must have an active, unencumbered, compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Must have an NBC-HWC certification
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience OR one year experience in health and wellness coaching, personal training, health education, counseling or social work.
  • Experience with clinical health education in areas of, but not limited to, weight management, tobacco cessation, stress management, and physical activity preferred
  • Commitment to high quality and high production work
  • A positive attitude, someone who is self-driven, proactive, and results-driven
  • Passion and personal accountability for improving the health of program participants
  • Knowledge and understanding of various biometric results including, but not limited to blood pressure, cholesterol, body
    mass index, and other variables of health preferred
  • Tech-savviness and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong oral and telephonic communication skills
  • Collaborative and a team player

For Colorado, Nevada, and New York-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the pay rate for this position is $32.00-$35.34/hour. The compensation package may include bonus, stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, and New York.
