As our Coordinator, Marketing Events you will bring administrative and operational focus to our trade shows, conferences, expos and hosted events. You will work alongside our Marketing Events Manager as we scale our public sector events program.

Role Responsibilities - How You Will Make an Impact

  • Support day-to-day operations of events, including (but not limited to): coordinate end-to-end workflow for programs, manage event calendaring for the team, oversee logistics and shipping, keep trackers and reports up-to-date, etc.
  • Act as air traffic control for major cross-functional tasks, managing action items and following up with key stakeholders
  • Manage systems and reporting for production trackers, event plans, and event communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for branded goods, event collateral, check-in materials, etc.
  • Conduct basic research and synthesize data into reports and presentations.
  • Work on data cleanliness alongside the Business Development and Marketing Operations team
  • Ability to travel for multi-day shows (not to exceed 20% annually)

Relevant Skills and Experience:

  • Must be local to the DC Metro area; expected in Arlington office once per week (Wednesdays) and as needed for organizing event kits and shipments
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs
  • Bachelor’s in marketing or related discipline, or four years equivalent work experience
  • Organized and consistent; proficient in managing multiple deadlines and demands simultaneously
  • Enjoy organizational processes, internal communications, and fostering collaboration
  • High integrity, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Attention to detail with a grasp of the big picture
  • Team player with adaptability and strong interpersonal skills
  • Hustle with a bias for action and strong ownership of outcomes
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations with patience and poise

The annual cash compensation range for this position is US $65,000 to US$80,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.

Primer works closely with the U.S. defense and intelligence establishment.
