About the Role

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will enable the reliable manufacture of thin deployable reflectors. You will bridge the gap between theory and reality, and enable us to design and build huge numbers of flight-ready deployable reflectors. We're looking for someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty, and loves to iterate fast.

Responsibilities

• Build space-ready deployable reflectors, for our first spacecraft and beyond

• Work closely with the team to design a highly manufacturable deployable reflector

• Develop our production-ready manufacturing processes to build thousands of reflectors

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing very thin & lightweight materials

• Capable with your hands & great attention to detail

• Demonstrated experience developing production processes from the ground up including driving design improvements for manufacturing

• Familiarity with the design and manufacture of deployable structures and solar sails
