ビジネス職（Project Manager, Cybersecurity, Finance）

本ポジションでは、金融機関をはじめとする事業会社に対し、生成AIを活用したサイバーセキュリティ事業の営業推進とプロジェクトマネジメントを担っていただきます。脆弱性診断やペネトレーションテストといったオフェンシブセキュリティの知見と、防御・運用側の課題を捉えるディフェンシブセキュリティの理解を併せ持ち、セキュリティエンジニアやAIリサーチャーと対等に議論しながら、提案から実行までをEnd-to-Endで牽引していただきます。

本ポジションはフルタイム、勤務地は日本となり、ビジネスレベル以上の日本語能力（N1目安）があることが求められます（ビジネスレベルの英語力があれば尚可）。

役割と責任

• サイバーセキュリティにおける顧客の困難な課題を、アカウントマネージャー、エンジニア、AIリサーチャーと協働しながら特定し、AIを活用したソリューションとして提案・実行する
• 金融機関をはじめとする事業会社との強固な関係を構築・維持し、新たなビジネスチャンスを開拓する
• クライアントとの要件調整、期待値調整、課題整理をリードし、「そもそも何をどう作るか」という戦略策定を主導する
• プロジェクト全体の品質・コスト・スケジュールに責任を持ち、確実なデリバリーを完遂する
• 開発チームのメンバーや技術パートナーと円滑なコミュニケーションを取り、プロジェクトのゴールに向けてチームを牽引・サポートする

応募資格およびスキル (Must)

• サイバーセキュリティ領域での5年以上の実務経験があり、以下のいずれかを想定
  • (i) 経営コンサルティングファームやシンクタンクにおいて、サイバーセキュリティ領域のプロジェクトを主導した経験
  • (ii) サイバーセキュリティ企業において、脆弱性診断・ペネトレーションテスト等のサービス提供やその営業・デリバリーに携わった経験
  • (iii) 金融機関・事業会社のセキュリティ部門において、セキュリティ施策の企画・推進を主導した経験
• サイバーセキュリティの全体像に関する体系的な知見。特に、脆弱性診断やペネトレーションテストとは何か、セキュリティエンジニアが実務で何を行っているかを理解し、専門ベンダーのエンジニアと技術的な会話ができること。
• エンタープライズ向けプロジェクトにおけるプロジェクトマネジメントの実務経験。チームビルディング、タスク・課題管理、スケジュール管理、品質管理を自律的に遂行できること。
• クライアントとの要件調整、期待値調整、課題整理を含む深い折衝経験と、要件定義書・計画書・課題管理表などのハイクオリティなドキュメンテーション能力があること。
• 生成AIやデータ基盤に関する基本的な仕組みの理解（API利用、モデル特性、データ前提、コスト・セキュリティ観点など）と、最新トレンドを自らキャッチアップする姿勢

歓迎要件（Nice to Have）

• 金融分野における法令・規制、ガイドラインの把握（金融分野におけるサイバーセキュリティに関するガイドライン、FISC安全対策基準、CRI Profile 等）
• 要件定義、技術選定、アーキテクチャ設計等の上流工程や、PoC・技術検証フェーズを含むプロジェクトの推進経験
• 生成AI（AIエージェント、Embedding、RAG等）を活用したシステムの要件整理・設計・リスク管理の経験
• 開発プロジェクトのチームマネジメントやメンバー育成の経験、およびPMP・Scrum Master・情報処理安全確保支援士・CISSP等の関連資格

Business Role (Project Manager, Cybersecurity - Finance)

At Sakana AI, we conduct world-leading research and development in unique generative AI technologies inspired by nature. We are now bringing the results of this research into the domain that protects society’s most critical foundations: cybersecurity.

In this position, you will drive business development and project management for our generative AI-powered cybersecurity business, serving major enterprises including financial institutions. You will combine offensive security knowledge—such as vulnerability assessment and penetration testing—with an understanding of defensive security and the challenges faced on the defense and operations side. Engaging with security engineers and AI researchers as an equal, you will lead engagements end-to-end, from proposal to execution.

This is a full-time position based in Japan, regardless of the candidate’s background. Business-level or higher Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 level is a guideline) is required. Business-level English proficiency is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Identify customers’ most difficult cybersecurity challenges in collaboration with account managers, engineers, and AI researchers, and propose and execute AI-powered solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprises, including financial institutions, and pioneer new business opportunities.
• Lead requirements coordination, expectation management, and issue structuring with clients, and drive the strategy of what to build and how to build it.
• Take ownership of quality, cost, and schedule across the entire project and ensure reliable delivery.
• Communicate closely with development team members and technology partners, leading and supporting the team toward project goals.

Qualifications and Skills (Required)

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, in one of the following areas:
  • (i) Experience leading cybersecurity projects at a management consulting firm or think tank.
  • (ii) Experience delivering, selling, or managing services such as vulnerability assessment and penetration testing at a cybersecurity company.
  • (iii) Experience leading the planning and execution of security initiatives in the security division of a financial institution or enterprise.
• Systematic knowledge of the overall cybersecurity landscape. In particular, a solid understanding of what vulnerability assessments and penetration tests are and what security engineers do in practice, with the ability to hold technical conversations with engineers at specialized security vendors.
• Hands-on project management experience in enterprise projects, with the ability to autonomously drive team building, task and issue management, schedule management, and quality management.
• Deep client-facing experience, including requirements coordination, expectation management, and issue structuring, along with the ability to produce high-quality documentation such as requirements definitions, project plans, and issue trackers.
• A fundamental understanding of generative AI and data infrastructure (API usage, model characteristics, data requirements, cost and security considerations, etc.), and a proactive attitude toward keeping up with the latest trends.

Qualifications and Skills (Preferred)

• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and guidelines in the financial sector (e.g., the Guidelines for Cybersecurity in the Financial Sector, FISC Security Guidelines, CRI Profile).
• Experience driving upstream phases such as requirements definition, technology selection, and architecture design, as well as projects involving PoC and technical validation phases.
• Experience in requirements structuring, design, and risk management for systems leveraging generative AI (AI agents, embeddings, RAG, etc.).
• Experience in team management and talent development on development projects, and related certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, Registered Information Security Specialist (RISS), or CISSP.
