Senti Bio is looking to add a hands-on Contract Accounting Manager to our dynamic and fast-paced team. You will be working closely with the rest of the finance and accounting team to lead many aspects of financial close and day to day operations.
Responsibilities
- Main Payroll liaison partnering with Human Resources and Payroll/HRIS Vendor in order to timely process Payroll semi-monthly.
- Assist in the monthly close process including performing cash reconciliations, prepaids, clinical trial accruals, manufacturing accruals, payroll accruals and other aspects of financial close.
- Prepare journal entries and update bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist with the cash management process by preparing monthly cash spend analysis.
- Monthly trend analysis to ensure expenses are captured and booked according to GAAP.
- Work closely with AP Specialist and other departments to ensure that purchase orders and invoices are booked appropriately and reflect correct GL accounts, project coding, etc.
- Provide support for external financial audits and prepare schedules as needed.
- Assist with Sales and Use tax filing, property tax, Delaware Franchise tax and other business compliances.
- Quarterly review of appropriate access within the Company’s financial systems (NetSuite, MineralTree).
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent with a solid knowledge of GAAP, general ledger and financial statements
- Self-motivated, versatile and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects and tasks.
- 6 year or more years progressive experience required.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel and Word skills.
- Experience with NetSuite desired
Salary and Benefits
- Compensation for this role includes an hourly base salary
- The base hourly range for this role is $62.00/hr - $70.00/hr. Starting pay is determined by multiple job-related factors including a candidate’s skills, education and experience level, benchmark, and internal parity
