As an IT Integration Consultant at Stord, you'll be instrumental in harmonizing the IT landscapes of acquired companies, with a primary focus on migrating their email platforms to our standard. You'll leverage your expertise to seamlessly transition email systems, assess their existing IT infrastructure, fortify security, and integrate their tools with Stord's standardized suite, including our remote warehouse locations. Your ability to strategize, execute, and communicate effectively will be key to the success of these critical integration initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Acquired Company Email Platform Transition: Plan, execute, and oversee the complete migration of email systems and associated data from various platforms (including but not limited to Microsoft M365, Google G Suite, and other providers) to Stord's standard email platform, ensuring minimal disruption to newly acquired teams. This includes user communication, training, and post-migration support.

  • Comprehensive IT Infrastructure Audit of Acquired Companies: Conduct thorough audits of the IT infrastructure of newly acquired companies, encompassing hardware, software, network configurations, and cloud services, to identify integration requirements, potential challenges, and areas for alignment with Stord's standards.

  • Security Gap Identification and Remediation in Acquired Environments: Analyze the IT infrastructure of acquired companies to pinpoint potential security vulnerabilities and recommend and implement solutions to mitigate these risks, ensuring their environment aligns with Stord's security policies.

  • Migration from Legacy Tools in Acquired Companies to Stord Standards: Lead the migration from various legacy tools and systems within acquired companies to Stord's standardized suite of applications and platforms, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration with our existing systems.

  • Establish Network Monitoring for Newly Integrated Locations: Design, implement, and configure network monitoring tools and systems for newly integrated locations, including remote warehouses acquired through company acquisitions, providing real-time visibility into network performance and proactively identifying potential issues.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal IT teams, integration teams, acquired company personnel, external vendors, and stakeholders across the organization to ensure successful project execution and clear communication throughout the integration process.

  • Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation for all integrated systems, processes, and configurations for acquired entities. Provide training and support to new users on Stord's standard tools and platforms.

  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Effectively diagnose and resolve any technical issues that arise during the migration and integration processes for acquired companies.

  • Staying Current with Technology: Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices to identify opportunities for further IT optimization and improvement in integration processes.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Consultant or Systems Administrator with a strong focus on system integration and migrations, particularly within the context of mergers and acquisitions.

  • Demonstrable experience in planning and executing email platform migrations from various providers (e.g., Microsoft M365, Google G Suite, others).

  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage, and cloud services.

  • Experience conducting IT infrastructure audits and identifying security vulnerabilities in diverse IT environments.

  • Familiarity with various network monitoring tools and protocols.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with individuals from different organizational cultures and technical backgrounds.

  • Ability to manage multiple integration projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with remote locations and distributed IT environments, including those acquired through company acquisitions.

  • Knowledge of supply chain and warehouse management systems is a plus.

  • Experience with change management principles in the context of IT integration is highly desirable.
