Opportunity, Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Timber Technologies Solutions is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented team player for the Estimator / Inside Sales Support role reporting to the VP of Sales. Responsibilities include: Estimating Glulam projects including Glulam Post Frame Columns, Glulam Beams & Rafters, Timber Trusses, and GLT Mass Timber; utilizing estimating software to determine products and quantities; communicating with stakeholders to determine project needs; working with sales and special operations to deliver customized solutions; collaborating on estimate review; formulating complete, accurate estimates using point of sale and vendor relationships; tracking estimates to ensure timely delivery; and clear communication with team members, customers, vendors, architects, and builders. Language and Technological Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret residential and/or commercial plans and specifications. Strong computer and estimating software skills, ideally including Woodworks, ProCore, CAD software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel emphasis). Education and/or Experience: Minimum 2-year degree in Architectural Drafting and Estimating; or four years’ experience/training; or equivalent combination. Work Environment: Primarily office-based; may require travel to job sites and client offices; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
