We work with community oncology sites, patients, and industry partners to ensure that clinical research is accessible, navigable, and inclusive.
We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused leader to join our team. The Executive Director of Life Sciences Partnerships will serve as the senior point of contact for Trial Library’s pharmaceutical and biotech partners. This role is responsible for defining and executing the overall partnership strategy: from onboarding to program delivery, renewal, and expansion. The ideal candidate will combine strong relationship management skills with strategic vision, ensuring sponsor programs deliver measurable value while driving growth and innovation. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Product Officer, and Commercial Lead to successfully deliver Trial Library products partners. This is primarily a remote position.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior relationship lead for a portfolio of established pharmaceutical, biotech, and other life sciences partners
- Own end-to-end partnership strategy, including onboarding, overall experience, delivery outcomes, escalation management, and innovation roadmap
- Set vision and KPIs for engagement, retention, and expansion, ensuring Trial Library delivers high-value results aligned with partner objectives
- Own the daily tactical work to schedule customer meetings, prepare kick-off presentations, set agendas, execute follow-ups, and more
- Represent the voice of the customer internally and collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Product, Engineering, and other teams to deliver programs successfully and continuously improve solutions
- Regularly analyze and report on partnership performance, providing actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders
Your Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, client services, or business development within life sciences, healthcare, or health tech.
- Data-driven mindset with experience setting and reporting on KPIs.
- Strong understanding of clinical trials ecosystem and exposure to heavily regulated industries
- Demonstrate a bias towards action and seek to intervene before issues arise
- Strong communicator and persistent, able to influence behaviors to help drive the desired outcomes
- Facilitate an analytical approach and use data to drive actions
- Agile and willing to adapt quickly in order to achieve desired outcomes
- Highly organized with strong strategic and project management skills; ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Data-driven mindset with experience setting and reporting on KPIs
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Monday) and project management platforms
- Passion for Trial Library’s mission to advance health equity in clinical research
- Preferred: experience in oncology, clinical operations
