About this role
As a People Operations Coordinator at Waymark, you will report to the People Lead and manage people operations processes in service of ensuring we build effective, engaged, collaborative teams, within an inclusive and belonging culture that supports everyone in doing their best work.
You will be critical in driving the success of the People team, ready to roll up your sleeves to contribute across onboarding new employees, supporting data reporting and analytics, and providing organizational, administrative, and systems support across the range of people operations functions. In this role, you will also collaborate closely with all of the functions within our People team – talent acquisition, learning and development – to aid in communications across our team and help execute on a range of critical tasks and projects to support all Waymark team members across the entire employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Provide people operations administrative support, including supporting various people operations systems (such as the ATS and survey platforms), inputting employee data and changes, manage performance review and engagement survey deployment, maintenance of employee files
- Coordinate and assist with the onboarding of new hires, ensuring new hires have access to necessary resources and technology, and manage tasks associated with smooth offboarding of employees (e.g., exit interviews)
- Serve as the initial point of contact on People team on a day-to-day basis for employee questions about benefits and employment policies
- Support data reporting and analytics, including tracking and analyzing people related metrics, analysis of survey results, and completing required employment compliance reports
- Maintain, improve upon, and document people related processes and coordinate with Finance and IT with respect to people related needs
- Provide additional support as needed, in areas such as benefits, administering leaves of absence, company surveys, trainings, interview logistics, performance reviews, and immigration administration
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Self-starter, with excellent organizational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate, clearly and effectively, making people feel supported and heard
- Experience identifying and solving problems and making continuous improvements
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in a start-up environment
- Experience working with a PEO, or administering an HRIS system
- Knowledge of Culture Amp, Greenhouse, & Slack
Salary Range: $74,000.00 - $100,000.00. Compensation will depend on multiple factors, including job location, training, education, and experience.
Benefits and Other Compensation: Medical, vision, dental, basic life insurance, and stock options available for the hired applicant. Employees also receive twenty (20) vacation days, accrued over the year and thirteen (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Sixteen (16) weeks of parental leave for birthing parents will also be available for use after successful completion of 6 months of employment, eight (8) weeks of bonding leave for non-birthing parents. Employees are able to enroll in our 401(k) plan and commuter benefits plan.
