ZEDEDA cloud controller platform provisions Edge gateways/servers (EVE Nodes), deploys, and manages the life of enterprise applications on EVE Nodes. This requires orchestrating multiple microservices across multiple nodes either in the public cloud or in some private On-Premise data centers. We are looking for seasoned cloud developers who can drive ZEDEDA cloud controller to the next level.

Responsibilities:

Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adoption process.

Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.

Develop and organize cloud systems.

Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.

Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.

Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.

Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.

8+ years experience in programming

5+ years of experience leading and mentoring technology teams (people management is not needed)

Strong programming skills in one or more of the modern programming languages: Golang, Python, Node.JS

Experience in designing architectural components of FrontEnd services, Backend microservices, Caching layers, Load Balancers, Webhooks etc.

Database technologies like MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, InfluxDB, etc.

Modern cloud infrastructure frameworks like Nginx, Kafka, zookeeper, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.

Experience with public Cloud Services and Infrastructures (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.). Exposure to their IoT services will be a plus.

Experience with Unit Testing frameworks

Great communication skills, both verbal and written

MS / BS in Computer Science is desirable
