Zoox is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to help us build a world class robotaxi service.
In this role, you will lead the engineering teams responsible for developing the software interfaces that directly impact riders’ experiences. You will work with engineers across the company and will collaborate with researchers, designers, product, and program leaders to give these interfaces utility and ensure that they are intuitive and delightful.

Responsibilties

Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 10+ years software engineering experience
- 5+ years software management experience, including leading multiple software development teams
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional partners
- Experience with mobile and/or embedded applications
- Experience with system design & architecture
Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of usability engineering as well as navigation, interaction, and graphic design
- Experience with distributed systems or client/server development
- Experience with transportation networks and/or mobility as a service
- Robotics or automotive experience
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: pay, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The pay range for this position is $$272,000 to $342,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The pay range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
