Role Overview:
As Sr. Global Supply Manager, you will be responsible for developing the supplier strategy and providing commercial and technical support to the development of electrical components from development through to production.

What you'll do:

  • Develop sourcing strategies to ensure suppliers are capable of meeting Aeva's current and future technical and business requirements for electrical components as well as Aeva’s proprietary ASIC components
  • Manage commercial discussions and strategic deal terms including IP rights for Aeva’s key EE and proprietary ASIC components
  • Work with cross-functional teams to bring to market best in class ASIC and EE components as part of Aeva’s overall products

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field or equivalent experience
  • A deep technical understanding of commodity management for ASIC’s and electrical components including demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to influence decisions and get alignment on technical documents such as RFIs, ERS’ and SOWs
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost structures and should-cost analysis
  • Established executive network with suppliers producing ASIC and electrical components
  • Extensive experience negotiating complex IP and supply agreements with global suppliers
  • 5 years of commodity management experience

Nice to have:

  • Thirst for knowledge and the ability to learn quickly with a strong interest in technology and/or operations
  • Postgraduate degree in a Business or Engineering related field
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% based on business needs
