Amca is building airplanes for the 21st century, starting by designing new hardware that flies on today’s planes. Aviation was once humanity’s boldest ambition, but the industry hasn’t successfully built a new plane in 40 years. We don’t think it has to be this way.

Contribute to the design and prototyping of new mechanical hardware
Work with engineers to define requirements and challenge assumptions
Develop detailed CAD models, structural analyses, and production drawings
Prototype new components with manufacturability, integration, and performance in mind
Support qualification testing through fixture design, environmental testing, and data collection
Collaborate with build engineers to ensure new designs are production-ready and incorporate DFM feedback
Help manage drawing revisions, BOMs, and part configurations according to aerospace standards
