*This is a hybrid role that will be required to go into our Dublin office (ideally 1-2x/week).

Job Summary

This is a newly created, high-impact role within our expanding Finance team, reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager based in Ireland. As a key member of the team, you'll play an important role in shaping and supporting the global finance function as Tines continues to scale. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business, helping to align finance operations with Tines' current and future goals.

What you will be doing:

  • Implement and maintain revenue recognition processes in accordance with IFRS standards, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting
  • Support the development of our Usage-Based Billing operations, including system configuration, testing, and financial controls
  • Drive revenue processing workflows, including order-to-cash processes and revenue analytics
  • Play a key role in the month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and revenue reporting
  • Assist in the statutory audit process across international entities, with focus on revenue recognition and compliance
  • Support the preparation and submission of R&D tax credit claims, working with stakeholders and advisors
  • Take ownership of VAT and Sales Tax filings across relevant jurisdictions, maintaining compliance with local tax regulations
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights on revenue trends, forecasting, and business performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes related to our Product-led Growth strategy
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the finance function

What you bring with you:

  • Recently qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 2-3 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Experience in SAAS or technology company environments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
  • Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team player
  • Effective communicator, able to build relationships across departments and geographies
  • Knowledge of usage-based billing models and subscription revenue accounting
  • Practical experience with IFRS reporting and compliance

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting environments
  • Knowledge of international tax compliance requirements
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis in high-growth companies
